Calculate the acceleration, of a body of 250 g when acted by a force of 1 newton

Answer:

Force = Mass x Acceleration.

Acceleration = Force / Mass

250 gms into kgs = 0.25 kg.

Acceleration = 1/0.25

 =  \frac{1 \times 100}{0.25 \times 100}

 =   \frac{100}{25}

= 4 m/s.

Given, m = 250g = 250/1000 kg = 0.25 kg

F = 1N

a = ?

Now, a = F/m (∵ F = ma)

= 1/0.25

= 4 m/s² Ans.
