⇒87.5=1/2*a*25
⇒a=7m/sec²

Acceleration = a
Equation of motion:-
s = ut +1/2 at²
87.5 = 1/2 x a x 5 x5
1/2a = 87.5/25
1/2a = 3.5
a = 3.5 x 2/1
= 7m/s²
