First we have to find velocity..
Velocity = distance / time
=> v = 87.5 / 5
=> v = 17.5 m / s
=> v ^2 = u^2 + 2 a × s
=> a = v^2 / 2 × s
=> a = 17.5 × 17.5 / 2 × 87.5
=> a = 306.25 / 175
=> a = 1.75 m/ s^2
