given chemical reaction is ..

2Al + Fe2O3 ⇔Al2O3 + 2Fe

here it is clear that , 2 moles of Aluminium produces 2 moles of iron metal.

so, no of moles of Aluminium = no of moles of iron

or, weight of Aluminium/atomic weight of Al = weight of iron/atomic weight of iron

or, weight of aluminium/27 = 1120/56

or, weight of aluminium = 1120 × 27/56 = 540 grams.

hence, 540g of aluminium required getting 1120g of iron by given reaction.
