Calculate the amount of calcium sulphate obtained by dissolving 112g of calcium oxidr in dilut sulphuric acid.

Metal oxide reacts with acids to produce water and metal salts, when white calcium oxide react with sulfuric acid it produces bubbles of water vapor, when the reaction is over no solid is leftover because calcium sulfate (CaSO4) is soluble in water.
