CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 +2H2O

From the chemical equation we can say that 1 mol of CO2 is produced in presence of 1 mol. of methane and 2 mol. of oxygen

CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 +2H2O

here oxygen is the limiting reagent

According to above equation we need 2 mol of oxygen is required to produce 1 mol of CO2

therefore 1 mol of oxygen will react with 0.5 mol of CH4 to produce 0.5 mol of CO2 and another half of CH4 will be left unreacted as excess reagent.

Hence CO2 produced is 0.5 mol or 22g
