C + O2 gives CO2

given: moles of carbon = 1mole

weight of CO2 = ?

Applying POAC for C,

1* moles of C = 1* moles of CO2

1*1 = 1* Wt. of CO2/molar Wt. of CO2

1 = Wt. of CO2 / 44

Hence, Wt. of CO2 = 44 g
