Molecular weight of CO₂

= molecular weight of carbon + molecular weight of dioxygen

= 12g + 32g = 44g

i.e 1 mole of carbon(6g) and 1 mole of dioxygen (32 g ) produce 44 g of carbon dioxide

then 1 mole of carbon burnt with 16 g of oxygen , it will produce 44× 16 /32 = 22 g of CO₂ .

so when 2 mole of carbon burnt with 16 g of oxygen , it will produce 22*2 g of CO₂

i.e 44g of CO₂ will be generated.
