Here, weight of CH4 = 2×16g= 32g

weight of oxygen = 4×32g = 128g

weight of CO2 = 2×44g =88g

weight of H2O = 4×18g = 72g

Now,

128g of oxygen reacts with 32g of methane and produce 88g of carbon dioxide.

So, 32g of oxygen reacts with 32g of methane and produce (88÷128)×32 = 22g of carbon dioxide.

Therefore, the amount of carbon dioxide is 22g. (Ans).
