Calculate the amount of heat generated while transferring 90000 coulomb of charge between the two terminal of a battery of 40V in one hour. also determine the power expended in the process.

Q=90000coulombs,

T=1hour=3600

seconds,V=40 volt

I=Q/T=90000/3600=25Amperes

R=V/I=40/25=1.6 ohms

H=I×I×R×T=25×25×1.6×3600

=3600 kilojoule

P=I×I×R=25×25×1.6=1000watt=1kilowatt.
