calculate the amount of sugar to be dissolved in 340 g of water so that the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of the solution is 15%

Answer:

% concentration= mass of solute/ mass of solution

15= (x/ 340+x)×100

15×(340+x) = 100x

5100 +15x = 100x

100x-15x = 5100

75x = 5100

x = 5100/75

x = 68g
