14.4g of H2O

Explanation:

2C2H6 + 7O2 ----> 4CO2 + 6H2O

number of moles of ethane burnt = 8÷ 30 = (8/30) moles

now according to balanced reaction

2mole of ethane give 6 mole of H2O

1mole of ethane gives (6/2)=3moles of H20

=> (8/30) moles of ethane will give (8/30) = 0.8 moles of H2O

mass of 0.8 moles of water = 18×0.8

=> mass of waster produced = 14.4g
