Given :-

  • Force = 25 N
  • Displacement = 5 m

To find :-

  • Amount of work done = ?

Solution :-

  • Work = Force × Displacement

\implies \sf{25 \times 5}

\implies \sf{125~J}

Work :-

  • A force which acts upon a body and causes displacement is known as work.
  • It S.I. unit is joule (J).

Force :-

  • It is a push or pull which tends to change the motion, direction of the body.
  • It is a vector quantity.
  • It S.I. unit is newton (N).

Displacement :-

  • It is the path travelled by a body in some particular direction.
  • It is a vector quantity.
  • Its S.I. unit is m.
