To find -

Find the value of Angle O .

Solution -

Here , see the attached figure.

Here , I have labelled the common points of the two sectors as B and C respectively .

Now , Join BC .

Then observe the two sectors OBC and ABC .

The angle BAC is 40° .

Now , we have to find the value of angle BOC .

Now , as O is the centre of the circle -

=> Angle BOC = 2 × Angle BAC

=> Angle BOC = 2 × 40°

=> Angle BOC = 80° .

Thus , the required value of C is 80° .

This is the answer .
