Given in the question :-

Flywheel making 420 revolution/minute , therefore Angular Velocity=420 rpm

The formula for conversion :-

1 rpm. =2π /60 rad/s

Since

ω=420 rpm

Therefore

=420 x 2 x π/60

= 840 × π /60

= 14 π rad/sec

= 14 × 3.14

= 43.96 rad/sec.

Hence the angular speed of flywheel making 420 rev/min is 43.96 rad/sec

Hope it Helps :-)

We know that Angular Velocity is the number of revolutions per minute, so from the given data it'll be 420 rpm.

Now you can also convert it:

We know 1 rotation per minute = (2 x pi) / 60 radian per second.

Therefore, 420 rpm = (420 x 2 x pi)/60 radian per second.

or, 840/60 x pi rad/sec

or, 14 x pi radian per second

or, We know pi = 22/7

or, (14 x 22)/7 = 44 radian per second (Ans)
