Length of minute hand = 10cm
For one revolution ,minute hand takes time = 1 hour
= 60minutes = 60 × 60sec
= 3600 sec
so, time period of minute hand , T = 3600 sec
so, angular velocity , ω = 2π/T
= 2π/3600 = π/1800 rad/s
∵ linear velocity = angular velocity × length of minute hand
= π/1800 × 10 cm
= π/180 cm/sec
