Hi friend,

(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2
= (4)^2+2*(4)*(root 5y)+(root 5y)^2
=16+8root 5y+5y^2

(4+√5y)²
=> 4²+(√5y)²+2(4)(√5y)
= 16+5y²+8√5y
