Now A(a,0) lies on (1)

so a+0=10, a=10

also B(0,b) lies on (1)

hence 0+b=10, b=10

Thus OA=10unit and OB=10 unit

Thus ar( Δ AOB)=1/2(OA)(OB)

=1/2(10)(10)

=100/2=50 unit²
