calculate the area of a body which experiences a pressure of 6000 Pa by a force of 120 N

Given -

Pressure exerted by the body - 60000 pa

force exerted by the body - 120 N

To Find -

Area of the body - ?

As we know,

Area = \tt \dfrac{force}{pressure}

so,

 \dfrac{6000}{120}

 =  0.02

The area of the body is 1/50m^{2}.

The formula of area :

Area = Force / Pressure

Solution -

P = 6000 pa\\F = 120N\\A = ?\\P = F/A\\6000 = 120/A\\A = 120/6000\\= 1/50m^{2}

Therefore, the area of the body is 1/50m^{2}.
