Calculate the area of a circle ring whose internal and external radii are 3 cm and 10cm respectively

Area of a circular ring
 = \pi( {R}^{2} -  {r}^{2}) \\  =  \frac{22}{7} \times ( {10 }^{2} -  {3}^{2}) \\  =  \frac{22}{7} \times (100 - 9) \\  =  \frac{22}{7} \times 91 \\  = 22 \times 13 \\  = 286 {cm}^{2}.
