Answer:

Area of quadrilateral ABCD  is 55

Given:

Length of diagonal = 10 cm,

Length of perpendicular from B = 5 cm,

From D = 6 cm

To find:

Area of a quadrilateral

Solution:

Area of a quadrilateral ABCD = Area of triangle ABC + Area of triangle ADC

Area of a quadrilateral ABCD

Area of quadrilateral ABCD  = 55

Step-by-step explanation:

given

the area of quadrilateral ABCD OF the length of each diagonal AC=10cm

the length of perpendicular

B=5cm

C=6cm

which is on AC

solution:-

the area of quadrilateral ABCD=Area of triangle ABC+Area of triangle ADC

so,

the area of quadrilateral

( \frac{1}{2}  \times ac \times b) + ( \frac{1}{2}  \times ac \times c) \\ ( \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 5) + ( \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 6) \\ 25 + 30 = 55

hence:-

the area of quadrilateral is 55cm^2
