calculate the area of a triangle whose sides are 18 cm,24 cm and 30 cm in length. also find the length of the altitude corresponding to the smallest side

you can use cosine rule in this case , to find one of the angles of the triangle . by using that you can use the area formula 1/2ab sin c to find out the area of the triangle, for the altitude take the smallest side as a base and equate it with it's area to find the answer.
