Calculate the area of cross section of a wire of length 2m, its resistance is
25Ω and the resistivity of material of wire is 1.84*10-6 Ωm.

Hi friend,

The required answer is

resistance = (resistivity*length)/area

25 = (1.84*10^-6*2)/area

area = (3.68*10^-6)/25

area = (0.736*10^-6)/5

area = 0.1472*10^-6

area = 1.472*10^-7 m^2
