If ratio of length and breadth of a rectangle is 3:2 & its area is 38400 then find its perimeter?

What does Google know about me?

Let the length of the rectangle be 3x

Let the breadth of the rectangle be 2x

Ratio of length and breadth = 3x : 2x

Multiplying the ratios = 3*2 = 6x

6x=38400

x= 38400 ÷ 6

6400

Hence, x=80

3x = 240

2x = 160

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (l+b)

2 ( 240 + 160 )

2 * 400

= 800 units

let the sides be 3x amd 2x .therefore

2(2x + 3x) = 40

5x = 20

x = 4

therefore the L = 8 and B= 12

area = L×B

=> 12 × 8

=> 96.cm sq.
