Hypotenuse of right angle

= (hypo)²= 12²+5²

(hypo)²= √169

hypo= 13cm

Area of shaded=Area of whole- Area of unshaded

=> Area of whole, by herons formula,

s= 13+14+15/2= 21cm

√21(21-13)(21-14)(21-15)

√21×8×7×6

=84cm²

Unshaded= ½×13×12= 78cm²

shaded= 84-78=6cm²
