Area of the unshaded region =(1/2)×12×5=30

find the area of the triangle ABC whose sides are 13,14 and 15 using the formula

A=√{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}.

s=(a+b+c)/2 =13+14+15=42/2=21

A=√{21×8×7×6}=7×3×4=84

Area of shaded region=84-30=54
