Answer: 584 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

By Pythagoras theorem,

PQ=20cm

ar(triangle PQR) = 1/2×Base×Height

=1/2 × 68 × 20. = 680 cm^2

ar(triangle PQS) = 1/2×12×16

=96 cm^2

Area of shaded part = Area of PQR - Area of PQS

= 680 - 96 cm^2

= 584 cm^2

Was that helpful for you??
