$ \Rightarrow s = \dfrac{{a + b + c}}{2} = \dfrac{{24 + 26 + 22}}{2} = 36$meter. So the area (A) of the shaded region is the difference of area of bigger triangle and area of smaller triangle. So this is the required answer. Hence option (A) is correct.
