Area of whole figure = 60×50 m^2
= 3000 m^2
Area of the unshaded region ={ (60×6) +( 50×4) -(6×4) }m^2
={ 360 + 200- 24} m^2
= {560 - 24} m^2
= 536 m^2
So the area of the shaded region is
3000 m^2 - 536 m^2
= 2464 m^2
