Answer:161 m sq

Step-by-step explanation:the inner area =l×b

= (43-(2×1.5))×(27-(2×1))

=(43-3)×(27-2)

=40×25

=1000

Outer area=43x27=1161

Shaded area =1161-1000=161

Length of outer rectangle = 43m
Breadth of outer rectangle = 27m
Area of rectangle = length *breadth
43*27 = 1,161 m sq.
so,
length of inner rectangle = 43-3 = 40m
breadth of inner rectangle = 27-2 = 25m
area of rectangle = length *breadth
40*25 = 1,000 m sq.

So ,
Outer rectangal - Inner rectangle
1,161-1,000 = 161 m sq.

Hope it may help you
