Height =?
By Pythagoras theorem -
h^2=a^2+b^2
17×17=a^2+8×8
289=a^2+64
289-64=a^2
225=a^2
sq. root of 225=a
a=15 cm
Area of trapezium= 1/2(sum of parallel sides)h
=1/2(6+6)15
=1/2×12×15
=6×15
=90 cm²
