The average distance between earth and sun is ≅ 1.501 \times 10^{11} m

Explanation:

Given :

Mass of sun M_{s} = 2 \times 10^{30} Kg

Mass of earth M_{e } = 6 \times 10^{24 } Kg

Gravitational force F = 3.55 \times 10^{22} N

From the law's of gravitation,

⇒  F = \frac{GM_{e } M_{s}  }{r^{2} }

Where G = gravitation constant and it's value is 6.67 \times 10^{-11}, r = average distance between earth and sun.

    r^{2} = \frac{6.67 \times 10^{-11}  \times 6 \times 10^{24} \times 2 \times 10^{30}  }{3.55 \times 10^{22} }

      r = \sqrt{225.46 \times 10^{20} }

      r = 1.501 \times 10^{11} m
