we know that ,      Distance=\frac{Speed}{Time}

Therefore,

V_{1} =40 kmh^{-1} \\D_{1} = 20km \\Time taken (T_{1})= \frac{20}{40} = \frac{1}{2} h \\\\V_{2} = 60kmh^{-1} \\D_{2} = 90km\\TimeTaken(T_{2} )=\frac{90}{60} =\frac{1}{3} h    

Now,

Average Speed = \frac{Total Distance}{Total Time Taken} = \frac{20+90}{\frac{1}{2} +\frac{1}{3} } = 132 kmh^{-1}
