Given :

  • Distance = 26 m/s
  • Time = 18

To find :

  • Average speed

According to the question,

We know,

Average speed = Total distance travelled ÷ Total time taken

→ Average speed = 26 ÷ 18

→ Average speed = 1.44 m/s

So,the average speed is 1.44 m/s...

More details :

  • Average velocity = Displacement ÷ Time taken.

Equation of motion :-

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + ½ at²
  • v² = u² + 2as

Average velocity :-

The ratio if the total distance travelled in specific direction to the total time taken by a body is called average velocity.

  • Distance = 26 m/s
  • Time = 18

Average speed = ?

  • For calculating average speed

average \: speed = \frac{total \: distance \: travelled}{total \: time \: taken} \\

average \: speed = \frac{26}{18} \\ \\

1.44 m/s
