Calculate the average velocity of the particle whose position vector changes from r₁ = 5i + 6j to r₂ = 2i + 3j in a time 5 second.

final position (r2) = 2i+3j

change in position (r) = r2 -r1

= 2i+3j-5i-6j

= -3i-3j = 3√2 units (of length)

average velocity =r/t

=3√2/5

=0.6√2
