We know,
Binding energy = ∆m. C²
where ∆m = [Zmp +( A - Z)Mn - m ]
where mp is mass of proton
Mn is mass of neutrons
and m is mass of nucleus
A is atomic mass
now for Hydrogen ,
∆m = {1 × mp + (2 - 1)Mn - m}
∆m = { (mp + Mn )- m}
but according to q,
(mp + Mn) = 2.016490
m= 2.01402
hence,
∆m = 2.016490 -2.01402
= 0.00247 amu
we know , 1 amu = 931.5 Mev
so, 0.00247 amu = 0.00247 × 931.5 Mev
= 2.300805 Mev
