Answer:

Perimeter=2(l+b)

l= 5x

b=7x

120=2(5x+7x)

120/2=5x+7x

60=12x

x=60/12

i.e x=5

l=5×5=25m

b=5×7=35

LENGTH=25m

BREADTH=35m

Perimeter = 120m

l:b = 5:7

Let the length be 5x and breadth 7x

Perimeter = 2(length+breadth)

=> 120 = 2(5x+7x)

=> 120 = 2×12x

=> 120 = 24x

=> 120/24 = x

=> 5 = x

=> x = 5

Length = 5x = 5 × 5 = 25m

Breadth = 7x = 7 × 5 = 35m

Answer: The breadth of the rectangle is 35m.

[Note: The longer side is usually called as the length and the shorter side is called the breadth but I'm not sure why the longer side is called as the breadth here ]

Please check with that if possible

Hope it helps :))
