Concept

A sphere is a three-dimensional equivalent of a two-dimensional circle.

Given

Radius given is 10 km

Find

We need to find the capacity of the sphere

Solution

Radius = 10km

Capacity of sphere = ?

Capacity of sphere can be found by finding the volume of sphere

And volume of sphere is \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Substituting the value of radius in r

∴ 4/3 * 3.14*10*10*10

= 4/3 * 3140

= 4190.48km³

Hence the capacity of the sphere is 4190.48km³
