Calculate the capital as on 1 April 2017 from the following: total assets Rs 2350000 and total liabilities 650000 {31 ‘arch 2018) drawings made 50000 and profit of the year 2017-2018 70000

opening capital = closing capital + drawings - profit

= 23,50,000 - 6,50,000 + 50,000 - 70,000

= 16,80,000
