Answer:

CH4 + 2O2 --> CO2 + 2H20

1 mole of methane makes 1 mole of CO2

and by calculation

in 80g of methane

no of moles present =80/16

= 5 moles

so CO2 formed by 5 moles of methane

is. = 5 moles

1 mole of CO2 is =44g

5 moles of CO2 is = 5×44 g

= 220 g
