Calculate the concentration in terms of mass,by mass percentage of the solution, if a solution contains 20g of Zinc sulphate in 550g of water.

MASS PERCENTAGE= MASS OF THE SOLUTE * 100/ MASS OF SOLUTION

= 100 MASS OF SOLUTE/ MASS OF SOLUTE+ MASS OF SOLVENT

= 100(20)/20+550

= 100(20)/570

=100(0.035)

= 3.5 g
