Given conditions ⇒

Mass of the Potassium Chloride = 2.5 g.

Volume of the Potassium Chloride Solution = 50 mL.

∵ Concentration = Mass/Volume

∴ Concentration of the Potassium Chloride in Solution = 2.5/50

= 0.05 g/mL.

∴ Mass-volume Concentration in % = 0.05 × 100

= 5 %

Hope it helps.

Given data :

Mass of Potassium = 2.5 g

Volume of Potassium Chloride = 50 ml

To find : Mass / Volume %

Solution :

Mass / Volume % = 2.5 g / 50 ml * 100

=> 250 g / 50 ml

=> 5 %

Therefore Mass / Volume percentage = 5 %
