Calculate the concentration of a solution which contains 2.5 g of salt dissolved in 50 g of water.​

Answer:

Given the mass of solute (salt) = 2.5g

And'mass of solvent(water) = 50g

we know that,

Mass of solution = mass of solute+ mass of solvent

=2.5 + 50

= 52.5g

concentration of the solution= (mass of solute/mass of solution) × 100

= ( 2.5/ 52.5) × 100

= 250/ 52.5

= 4.76% ( Approximately)
