Answer:

0.5 Amps, 400 ohms

Explanation:

Given :

  • Power rating of the bulb = 100 watts

  • Potential difference of the electric bulb = 200 volts

To find :

  • Current passing through the electric bulb

  • Resistance of the electric bulb

Power = V×I

100=200×I

I = 100/200

I = 0.5 Amperes

Now using the ohms law:

V=I×R

200=0.5×R

R=200/0.5

R = 400 ohms

The resistance of the electric bulb is equal to 400 ohms

Given :-

  • Power (P) = 100w

  • Potential difference (v) = 200 v

To Find:-

  • Resistance of bulb

  • current (I) of electric bulb.

Solution :-

We know that

➦Power = Potential difference × current

➭ P = v × I

➭ 100= 200 × I

➭I = 100/200

➭ I = 0.5 A.

∴ The current of electric bulb is 0.5 A.

And Now, we have to calculate Resistance

By Using ohm's

➦ R = VI

➭ R = 200/0.5

❞ R = 400 ohm.

∴The resistance of electric bulb is 400

ohm.
