calculate the current drawn by an electric lamp from a 220 volt supply if the resistance of the lamp while growing is 220 Ohm​

The formula of voltage is V=IR

here we simply put in the values

V=220V

I=?

R=220ohm

so equation becomes

220V=220 ohm× xA(variable x taken for current)

x=220/220=1

The current drawn is 1 A
