according to ohm law
v=I ×R
so v= 5v
R=1k ohm
so I= v/R
I=5/1=5mA

Given,

R= 1k ohm
=1000 ohm

V= 5V

According to ohm's law

V=I×R
I = \frac{V}{R} \\ I= \frac{5}{1000} \\ I = 0.005 A

0.005 Ampere of current is flowing in the circuit.
