In Last part :- We know that In series the value of P.D(voltage) is different. So we have to find the current in resistor of 6ohm which is connected in resistor.. As i Do in figure.

But, In case of parallel combination P.D is same so.. And earlier we have the value of P.D of 6ohm and of whole circuit..

When we do:-

P.D. of whole circuit - P.D of series part = P.D. of parallel..

And P.D of parallel part is same as 4ohm.

At last we find the value of Current of 4ohm resistor as given in figure...
