Calculate the current through the circuit with 12 V potential difference across the 6 and 3 ohm resistances connected in parallel. find the current through each??

According to the question the equivalent resistance of 3 ohm and 6 ohm resistance which kept in parallel is 2 ohm. So the current flow through the circuit is I=5/(3+2)=1A. So the potential difference across the 6 Ω resistor should be V=2×1=2V.
