Calculate the de-Broglie wavelength associated with the electron
revolving in the first excited state of hydrogen atom. The ground state
energy of the hydrogen atom is -13.6 eV.​

As we all know,

wave number = 109677 X 1/n^2

and wavelength= 1/wave number

therefore wave number= 109677 X 1/ 4

= 27419.25

hence , wavelength= 1/27419.25

= 0.36 X 10^-4 cm.
