Given:-
- Measurement of the side of the cube = 2 m
- Mass of the cube = 64 g
To Find: Density of the cube.
We know,
- Density = (Mass)/(Volume) of a substance
- Volume of cube = (side)³
☞ Formula after substitution becomes:
Density of the cube = (Mass)/(side)³
→ D = (64 g)/(2 m)³
= (64 g)/(8 m³)
= 8 g/m³
= 0.008 kg/m³
[∵ 1 kg = 1000 g]
∴ Density of the cube was of 0.008 kg/m³.
