Calculate the density of a cube of each side 2 m and having a mass of 64 g

Given:-

  • Measurement of the side of the cube = 2 m
  • Mass of the cube = 64 g

To Find: Density of the cube.

We know,

  • Density = (Mass)/(Volume) of a substance
  • Volume of cube = (side)³

☞ Formula after substitution becomes:

Density of the cube = (Mass)/(side)³

→ D = (64 g)/(2 m)³

= (64 g)/(8 m³)

= 8 g/m³

= 0.008 kg/m³

[∵ 1 kg = 1000 g]

Density of the cube was of 0.008 kg/m³.
